Earnest Money Deposits and contingiencies/clauses
In my contracts in says sellers exclusive remedy if buyer fails to perform is to keep earnest money.
However, if I back out due to my financing clause I still get to keep my earnest money correct?
My main point is not put down LARGER deposits to entice sellers to accept contracts, if you can still back out and keep your earnest money.
