First time investor

Hi!  I am a first time investor and needs advice on where to begin.  I would like to start out small and gradually grow my business.  Therefore, I am closing on a foreclosure on June 22nd that will be renovated and used as a rental property.  If things go well, I will be looking for a multi-family next for an investment property.  I'm open to any positive and helpful advice!!!!
