Time to plan

Hell all,

I am currently active duty military and I am wanting to get into the real estate business. Not for a quick get rich method but from the people I have talked to, this industry is one where hard work and dedication pays off. I have about 2 years until my possible separation and I am basically asking someone to point me in the right direction, somewhere I can learn the industry and the basics I need before I dive straight into this. I have a family so it isn't something I plan on doing blindly or unprepared. More or less I am asking for someone to point me to the starting line. Anything will help as well like other sites, books, or possible people that do podcasts or TED talks. Thanks again for any help, it is greatly appreciated.
