How old were you when you got started in real estate investing and how did you get started?

I'm new here and I wanted to hear some stories about how people got into real estate investing.

How old were you when you got started in real estate investing?

How did you get started?

I was 29, and became interested in mobile homes and mobile home parks. I read a book called Deals On Wheels, and decided that's how I'd get started. Paying cash for cheap mobile homes, and financing them to an owner occupant. I bought my first home for $3,000, which I borrowed from a bank, and sold it for $7,000 on a 36 month note. I've got 13 of them now.
