Beginning the Journey

Hi BP,

I am new to both the BP community as well as the world of RE Investing.  Coming from NYC real estate has given me a great appreciation and passion for the many opportunities in our industry.  I am currently forming a strong, well-balanced team that is seeking an initial multi-family housing investment.  Here's where we are falling short:

Where in the country do we look for the best investments?  My team and I currently live in high-barrier-to-entry markets with very little feasible opportunities for the "little guy".  

Can anyone recommend a good starting strategy or maybe a hint as to where they believe the best markets to be located.
