Turnkey Inspection: Company or Own Home Inspector? Who Pays?
I'm about to pull the trigger on a SFR out-of-state turnkey.
The company I'm working with recommended a home inspector. Should I go with theirs or find my own. i.e. is there a conflict of interest? Also, who pays for the inspection? Buyer or seller?

Buyer pays for home inspection.
If you trust your turnkey company, use their recommendation. If you want to increase your chances of getting a truly unbiased third-party analysis, find your own inspector.
