College student move from Gainesville to Orlando?

Currently a finance major at UF. Want to get involved in real estate - eventually acquire enough properties so that I dont have to work(only collect rent/maintenance). I would live a relatively frugal lifestyle - think a step above a college student budget once graduated.

I was thinking of transferring to UCF to live in Orlando. There, I could work year round, here in Gainesville the real estate job availabilities are thin. I want to work a real-estate related job throughout college so that by the time I graduate I'll have capital + experience. Is this a smart plan? Or should i stay at the much higher ranked UF?
