Graduating school in June with a bachelors in Accounting, looking to make my first investment in real estate!

I am going to graduate California State University of Los Angeles with a degree in Accounting! I have a job lined up ready with Kaiser as an Accounts Payable Clerk! I also have a small carpet cleaning business with my father! I have some money saved (7500) and I am really interested in flipping real estate! My dad has great experience in construction and can literally build a house from the ground up! I just have no clue on how to start and what type of property I should invest in? Does anyone have any tips? I would really appreciate the help! Thank you!

P.s For some reason I cant post a profile picture.
