Recommendations for LLC creation software

Hello BP. 

My investment partner and I are beginners to the property investment game. We are going to be focusing on SFR rentals in the western suburbs of Chicago. What are the recommendations out there for software used for creating an LLC, specifically in Illinois? Thank you and we look forward to networking with our BP friends.

"Software" to 'create' a LLC? None.

LLC's documents can be found on most state websites for corporations.  Some states allow you to submit on line as well.  Since the corporation is a state entity there is not software solution that does all that for you.  

It is probably in your best interest to sit down with an attorney to help draw up your Operating Agreement properly to avoid pitfalls in the future.  Usually that service will help you create all your needed documents and file with the state.  

Not sitting with an attorney would mean you end up with some boiler plate operating agreement and run the risk of missing issues that might be critical in the future.  For instance rights of survivorship powers of managers and other check and balance type ideas.
