Real Estate

Hi everybody

I live in Westchester, NY. and during the last months I have been educating myself at Real Estate. I read books from different authors and I even read motivational books. I found Real Estate very interesting and a way to achieve financial freedom.

So I paid for a three days seminar in Rye, NY. During those days, those people expose how good is real estate and the life you can achieve by doing it. I did not get any other different knowledge on Real Estate than the ones I already learn in books (I think I did not learn anything actually). The most important lesson I learn during that seminar is that I (as a new investor) have to build my powerful team in Real Estate. The seminar also was developed in order to make us buy a program that was worth between $12,000 and $55,000. I did not buy the program.

I have no experience and no contacts in Real Estate area I want to start out my RE career. I have heard that Real Estate is a good market to achieve financial freedom. People have told me i should find a mentor before starting.

Can anybody tell me his/her experiences on how to start a Real Estate career. Where do you suggest I should look to find my powerful team?

Thanks
