International Investor - Advice on the best way to find deals

Hello,

This forum has been really helpful so far. I've only joined today and I'm looking at investing in the Ohio market. Similar to others, I'm looking to wholesale at first and I have a couple of agents that are helping me find deals on MLS. Speaking to other investors in the area they have mentioned that using the MLS is very competitive and they get most of their deals through marketing. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to either find deals or market for deals?
