MN Rookie Investor Looking for Experienced Investor That Might Need Some Help!
I am searching BP for an experienced REI in the Twin Cities Areas that is in need of a little help. I am a very motivated individual and have been studying RE for 8 months. I am pretty confident in myself that I am ready to begin my career as a investor. Everything I have read says it is very important to get a mentor to help guide you and help eliminate some of the rookie mistakes you can make. I personally do not know anyone that is doing what I want to do. I have started managing/leasing an 84 unit complex and a 60 unit in the area and I am learning how to run the property since I figured you better know how to run a property before you buy one. With that said I would love to devote my time helping out someone that would be willing to pay me in knowledge and guidance.
I am debating spending money on a company called Renatus but I have also learned that you do not need to spend money on this education. I guess the fact that they have a network and you get to work 1on1 with investors on deals has me interested. Also they give you an option to recruit people to the school and get paid for it. I have read all the threads on this company on this site and its hard to get anything out of it because all of the people saying no to it our people who have not gone through the program. All the people that have gone through it say good things but its hard to judge due to the commission group effort. It seems you get out of it what you put in. I feel like I could excel at that compared to others who might struggle due to my persistence and motivation.
This is why I am reaching out on BP to see if anyone would be able to give me a little guidance and support. I would rather not spend 15k on education!! Thanks in advanced!
