How much can successful wholesalers make?

After reading and listening to some videos by jay Morrison it sounds like wholesaling can be a lucrative business, if not anything more a great hands on learning experience. However Is is scale-able ? and how much do top wholesalers make per year?

I am looking for ways to make huge amounts of earned income that I can then throw into passive investments that grow long term wealth. My goal is 10-25 million dollars. So I am going to need to do some risky things to get there but I am willing and ready.

My business vehicle is going to be real estate. I am just learning how to drive the vehicle and what direction to take it. I know RE development has potential to get me to my financial goals. However I know I need to start small and learn the inns and outs of the Real estate industry before I can go play in the major leagues.

With that said any advice on direction would be great.
