Paying the Guru's big bucks to learn how to be an investor!

Hey everyone,

I'm curious about how you feel about paying "Gurus" big bucks to learn real estate investing.  Today I spoke with someone who wants to charge me $2500 to show me the ropes.  There is no way that I can afford the $2500 and told him sorry I can't.  However I'm curious about how the board feels about Gurus and spending all this cash.

Thanks

Carlos
