First Deal by the End of October - 2014

I'm new here. Signed up last night. I've been looking around quite a bit online and in books about real estate investing and I've decided that it's time to take that real first step into it. 

October is going to be when I will do my first deal. That deadline is what I'm holding myself to. I'll be on this site getting some tips. If I'm not here I'll be at my job or working on getting that first deal closed.

I'm mainly looking for a wholesale deal. Since that seems rather straight forward. I still don't know all the nuances of the whole process, but that is something I'll deal with in October.

I'll definitely update you before Thanksgiving rolls around.
