When is it okay to reveal your RE numbers?

I know its usually not a good idea to reveal your salary (unless its family or your closet friends). 

When do you feel it is okay to reveal your RE numbers? To whom? Cashflow, mortgage payment, value?

I've already been asked several times by basically complete strangers how much the house is worth.
