Importance of setting goals!

How important do you all think goal setting is? One thing I stress to all of my investor clients is to all set goals and have a plan. All of these are extremely important to help you get where you want to go. If you don't know where you are you will never get there. I believe setting goals is a MAJOR factor to success.

Do you agree? What are some goals you all have set? Have you reached them?

If anyone would like any help talking about setting goals and a plan let me know.

Setting goals is extremely important as it establishes your priorities, and it is much easier to make the quick decisions necessary to get great deals in real estate if you have already done all the groundwork, set the priorities, know exactly what you are looking for and at what price point.   Even more important, I believe, is that you can rule out the ones that don't fit what you're looking for more easily, so there is less of a chance that you pay too much or buy something not right for you just because you want to jump in and invest.
