Raising Capital

Hello,

I currently attend Augustana College and I am a very ambitious student who has been learning a lot just from BP. I started the REI club on my campus and I love this business. I read a new book every couple of weeks and I just want to take a shot and take action already.

That being said, I have little credit and no actual "income". The only thing I have to invest would be enough for a small downpayment. I am looking to invest in the Quad City area where I go to school and my goal for the next school year is to complete one flip and acquire one buy and hold.

Where should I look to raise funds? Maybe share how you got started so I can learn from a wider scope of investors. Any advice is helpful. Thanks in advance!
