I currently live in northern IL. My plan is to move to central Wisonsin to start my investing. This is due to my extensive research, and I have found all kinds of SFH's and 3-5 unit buildings that will cash flow. So I'm packing up the family and moving.

I put my home for sale, by owner. Everyone, including my closest family members, told me that this would never work. The market is too bad, you'll never get an offer, blah blah blah. I didn't listen to them, and we sold our house yesterday for $10k MORE than what the real estate agents said we would. I had 3 of them come through to give me their thoughts before I listed. So in 3.5 months, by owner, we sold the house and close on 11/21. I saved thousands and thousands on realtor fees. We also have $100k to put down as a down payment on our new house.

Now we are one step closer to being where we want to be. This goes to show you that if you do research and don't listen to "nay sayers", be persistant and know your business, you will get it done.

Thanks,
-Rich
