i have a fico score between 650 - 700 and roughly 5k to invest. I tried to build my credit through securing a personal loan but was denied because i have little to no credit history. I am ready to step out of my analysis paralysis but not show how to overcome the current financial wall (family/friend loan is not an option for me).

I currently live in NYC and the prices for houses are way out of my current budget. I thought about investing in SC or FL but I don't have the capital or line of credit.

Does anyone have any advice on the best approach i should take to start investing?

Thanks,
