Learning my market!! Minnesota (Twin Cities)

Looking for any advice about the Twin Cities Market! I am looking to begin my investment journey and am just curious what kind of investments are making the best cash flow. I have goals to buy larger multi family apartment complex's but I am currently having my agent send me properties on the MLS but almost all that I can find is Duplex's and 4plex's. Is this common in this area? Looking for any advice on this market I can get!
