So Cal (Ventura County) Newbie

Hi All. My name is Melissa and I am also new to real estate. I have been a member of this oh so useful site for about 2 weeks now. I have 4 kids, one who is graduated and about to enlist in the Air Force. My husband and I live from paycheck to paycheck and have both decided to find a better way of life. We both see that Real Estate will be the fastest way to freedom. My goal is Wholesaling to gain capitol.

I too am looking for a mentor in my area who can take me by the hand and teach me the skills necessary to be successful. I look forward to meeting and/or speaking to anyone willing to help. I have read a few books and am filling my brain with lots of info from this and other REI sites.
