Newbie Wholesaler in need of Marketing advice

Hello guys,

My name is Robert. I'm fairly new to real estate investing and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice and ideas concerning marketing my wholesaling business. As of right now, I don't have the money to execute the $1000-$4000 direct mail strategies. What else could I be doing to market my business. I've had some investors advise me to wait and save my money, i've had others advise me about craigslist. I would really like to utilize the direct mail strategy, but I only have $400 right now to put into it. Would I be wasting my time and money jumping the gun prematurely here? Any advice would help! Thanks
