Are condos worse investments than SFH or other detached residences

Hi everyone!

I am breaking into real estate investing and have extensive experience in condo / townhome law and association laws. This would give me an edge in investing in townhomes/condos, but I'm having difficulty finding condo investing resources.

In general, is condo investing more difficult, and should I target SFHS, duplexes, etc. ?

My condos have been some of my most profitable rentals. I buy in upscale areas and my appreciation is much better than "affordable" SFH in the Midwest.
