Anyone know any good ones online I can download, on youtube or whatever, some legit ones that dont try to get me to buy something but teach me alot about investing?

I am trying to learn as much as I can and I do not find much interest in reading books myself..

Thanks BP Crew

I haven't seen any good free videos online that I would suggest. I've seen some videos on youtube, but nothing of any value, in my opinion. For a good laugh, check out http://flippernation.com/ ...they've got some hilarious videos.

Andrew,

I held off posting a reply to see what others could suggest in terms of videos. I have a concern about your lack of reading.

RE deals are many times tied to documents and other written items. Hence reading of the details can make or break a deal. It is almost like the property is secondary to the terms and conditions.

Rental contract, landlord/tenancy regulations, building code details, liability issues and ways to shield your holdings, etc. Being a fan of books on RE investing can make a very serious difference.

You might need to suck it up and read more or push on to other types of investing. Most video's will be recordings of live seminars where a student who paid a lot to attend is given a copy of the seminar. Even then the video will refer to the written materials associated with the course.

If you are into wholesaling just do a search for that on youtube and you shall find some nuggets of gold.

I haven't had much luck finding good videos about REI on youtube. I had the same question as the original poster, so rather than starting a duplicate thread, I'm responding here.

Unlike the original poster, I don't mind reading some books ;-) but I've found lots of helpful vids on youtube for other subjects and just have not come across them for REI. Anyone have better luck?

Lots of gurus include videos as part of their home study courses. You can sometimes find those on ebay.

I don't know of any abour RE. But if you ever need motivation look for Jim Rohn. He is one of my favorites.

Andrew,

For the life of me I can not remember how I came across some of the best blogs in the REI blogosphere but I did. I probably did a Google search. I later found that Bigger Pockets had a list for the top 20 blogs and the blogs I was checking out were winners.

http://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2010/06/28/the-top-20-real-estate-investing-blogs/

Some of the blogs go really in depth with the process of buying property, number crunching, reading the market and the whole nine. Oh and some have great pics of before and after flips and walk through videos of properties.

Just check it out yourself and you will see why they are great. Don't be like me and get caught up with the oohs and ahhs of the renovations. It's the advice, business processes and articles that you want to focus on.
