Curious Investor from Tanzania: Where Should I Start?

Hi everyone! I’m Ian from Tanzania (Africa), stepping into the exciting world of real estate investment after years in digital marketing and few months of being a short-term rental agent. I had a passion for real estate for quite sometime now but it was until i went into being a short-term rental agent and making sales of $12,222 from April to date that i saw that there is actually quite a huge demand for short term rental here in Tanzania and i can decide to not just be an agent but rather work myself up to becoming a real estate investor and get my own properties.

That 12k, though in humble beginnings showed my that there's something here. So, now I’m looking for advice on where a new investor should begin in this community—whether it’s podcasts, books, or even specific forums within BiggerPockets.

I am really eager to learn, grow, make and learn from my mistakes, take calculated risks and in short dive into this whole heartedly.

I got some books from Ken McElroy, David Greene, and Brandon Turner to begin with, oh! and i listen to the BiggerPockets podcast.

I need your help to know where to start and i would love to connect with you guys!
