Starting with zero credit

Any advice for someone looking to get into real estate with zero credit? Have a good amount saved up for down payment and own 3 acres of raw land (valued approximately 240k) but would like to keep this in portfolio. Have begun talking to lenders but am having trouble getting good quotes on interest rates. Was advised to build credit for 6-12 months from lender but am wondering if there are any other options out there! Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA!!

There are bank statement loans, non traditional financing. Not sure how hard those will be to find but they are out there. Many people like you.
