Find cash flowing deals

Hello all, I'm new to real estate investing and about to graduate college. I'm really into calculating the numbers and determining if an investment is worth it or not. So far im just picking random tri and four plexes from zillow and running the numbers on them to see if they cash flow but i feel like this isnt effective. How do you all find deals? And if they are found off-market and from relationships how do you forge them in the real estate investing buissnes? I'm also into discussing your thoughts process into a deal and connecting with you all. Thank you in advanced!
