As a social media manager/ content creator how can I get into real estate investment?

Hi, Bigger Pockets community

Nice to meet you! My name is Jieun.

I've been working as a marketer/ social media manager for four years.

I'm new to real estate investment but have been educating myself with Bigger Pockets and books. I'm newly married, and my goal is to get a first property for rental investment.

I want to utilize my marketing skills to get into the industry and familiarize myself while making my income. Can you recommend what kind of opportunities I should look for? Or does anyone need social media help?

Sorry if this question is not allowed, but any advice will be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Continue with the education, but try to find an investor group in your area. Networking with others will accelerate your learning. Go to BUILD YOUR TEAM at the top of your screen and you can search for other MEMBERS or LOCAL MEETUPS. You can also check meetup.com or search facebook for real estate investment groups, clubs, or meetings in your area.

You may find someone who could use help with social media marketing in exchange for helping you with education.

Hi Nathan,

Thank you for your kind advice! I'll definitely look for local meetups and members. :)

Have a great day!
