Getting from the first property to the next

Hello, within the last year I purchased my first property by using the house hacking strategy on a duplex. My tenant pays most of my mortgage for me and I became incredibly determined to try and get another deal in the near future. My problem is trying to save enough money for the downpayment on the next property, since living expenses hold me back from saving as much as possible. I was hoping to hear some different ideas on how to help me get to my next property faster and different creative ways to continue. Thank you!
