Individual vs company

My partner and I want to start investing in properties that we will rent out. We need to secure loans/mortgages externally in order to get started so wondering if we should start a company/partnership or if it’s best to do this as individuals. Would like the best shot at securing funding. Appreciate any advice, thank you!
