Should I partner up?

Hello! I'm interested in partnering with someone who has experience in a few fix and flip projects in Florida. I would like to offer the money and split the profit. However, I also want to learn from this experience. Do you think it's a good idea for me to start this way? My main concern is dealing with contractors since I'm out of state, so I feel it would be better for me to partner up for my first deal.

In summary, do you think it's a good idea for me to partner with someone for my first deal, put in some or all of the money, take a smaller return, but gain knowledge and confidence to start on my own in the future?
