Buy and Hold Questions

Hi,

So I have been reading a lot here on BP and I believe I want to invest in buy and hold properties. After posting another question and receiving a suggestion to invest in a property where I can live and collect rent I am seriously considering this option. I have a few more questions.

1. If I use a FHA or 203K loan, whats the average time it will take me to pay off the loan?

2. How will I know when is the best time to purchase a property?

3. Will purchasing an investment property first hinder me from future loans for personal use?

4. How many properties can I buy and hold at one time? Is this financially beneficial?

Any other suggestions are welcomed as well.

Thanks

Veronica
