Hello Folks

I am looking at surrounding cities to Raleigh for an OOS SFH investment for first time.

How are the cities mentioned in the title? i m mostly looking at breaking even now with rent (with ~100K down) & a bigger price appreciation 10 yr down the line. Appreciate any help.

Thanks

Bis

Many thoughts! I send a lot of my investor clients there because there are so many new constructions that are affordable and buying in early is a good way to lock in future appreciation as buyers who need affordable newer housing that is still a small commute into raleigh flock there over the next few years. Just know the first several years and in general it's an appreciation play. If you want cashflow you have to put a bunch up front either in down payment or by doing a fixer upper, airbnb route will speed that process up for you too if you do it right. More than happy to discuss more. I'll PM.
