21 years old. Planning on investing with a partner. I've been trying to get a DSCR loan but my credit is terrible and I'm self-employed with doordash and babysitting while I wait to get hired as a Med Tech at a hospital. I have no experience with investing but I love researching and I'm willing to learn all I can before my first investment. Does anyone have good advice for first-timers? Is there any way to buy a rental property with an LLC that has no capital? So far, every lender I've gotten in contact with has turned me away. And if there are any other brand-new investors who want to be mutuals, I'm open to meeting business savvy friends and acquaintances.

@Sean O'Keefe Thank you so much for responding to my post! If I were to buy in my own name, could I still use a DSCR loan or should I go with a hard money lender or conventional? Conventional is a bit of a challenge however, because I lack the proper credit and income. Are you saying I would have better luck getting a loan without an LLC?
