Airbnb in south Louisiana
I want to buy a single family home in Jefferson Parish, and when I buy one I would like to airbnb it to make it an asset and make more money. But I know there's rules that it's banned in residential areas, and that taxes need to be collected and all of this. Is there anyone in south Louisiana who are successfully doing airbnb even with the rules and extra taxes involved. How did you do it and make it work? (I do not want to live in Orleans parish due to the crime and other factors). I want to be able to get my single family in a parish that is safe, no complicated airbnb rules, but not far from the city since I work there.
