100% financing on a Multifamily ?

Bryant Carr
Posted

Hey all!

So I found a deal I’m interested but I wanted to throw it out to the experienced investors out there. Is there a way to get full financing on a potential Multifamily investment without it being owner occupied?

I’m trying to see if there’s a way to accomplish this without the 25% down.

Or if anyone knows of an investor that would assist in this!

Thank you

No unless the owner would finance 100% or you bring on partners. Also it is an awful idea to 100% finance any asset. Your chances of default increase 10 fold as those that seek the most financing typicaly do not have adequate reserves to cover lowered projections in income or increased expenses. Then they end up broke and unable to buy for another 5-7 years while they pick up the pieces.
