Hello,

I'm looking for a Realtor that can help me find a great rental property in Cedar Rapids area. SFH or Multifamily. I'm not from the area so someone that can be direct and with knowledge of the areas.

Thank you

Hey all!

So I found a deal I’m interested but I wanted to throw it out to the experienced investors out there. Is there a way to get full financing on a potential Multifamily investment without it being owner occupied?

I’m trying to see if there’s a way to accomplish this without the 25% down.

Or if anyone knows of an investor that would assist in this!

Thank you

NO, you are not getting 100% , flip the contract, earn save then go on your own. BTW since you do not have any experience how do you even know its a good deal? What is the ALL IN price, and NET rent ?

First Multifamily, not my first rental. All in 180k loan.  Net rent after all expenses including management, reserves, vacancies about 800 month

@Jayson Cain I’m leaning more towards the Iowa location. Any suggestions on a creative way to finance it with little money down?

@Jay Thomas appreciate that.. I agree it’s the risk/reward factor for me. It’s my first out of state multi family

Pros and cons of purchasing a multifamily in these states..I found one in each 4 unit in Ohio in a rural area. A 6 unit in Iowa in a busier area. Thoughts?
