Advice on as possible Single Family Purchase

Terrell Gomez
Posted

Hello Everyone, My name is Terrell Gomez and I am 25 years old. 9 out of 12 months I work in Europe and do a great job of saving my money. Im interested in buying a single family home in Houston Texas (3 bedrooms) for 315k that is newly built. I would like to put 20% down and have 2 family members live there and cover the cost while I'm gone. I will put extra towards the monthly payments to pay the home off faster. My ultimate goal is to grow into the home and have it paid off in full when I retire in 10-12 years.....Does this make any sense...What do you think I should do? The home is 315k with a 4.5% interest rate..NEW BUILD and I truly believe the area in Houston has great appreciation potential.
