Looking for starter home in the Raleigh area
First post 🤗. We are looking to buy a home for the first time for our primary residence in the Raleigh/Triangle area. We are pretty flexible in the specific location (remote work, homeschool our kids), but are looking for a safe neighborhood. It seems like any 3-bed, 2-bathroom, non-HOA home we see (up to ~$350k) is a renovated flip. We are looking to find a property that we can pour some sweat equity into, so it's been a bit frustrating.
We are a cash buyer and can move quickly once we find the right property.
Any advice on how to find these pre-flip homes? Finding wholesalers in the area? Investors that need to close their loans quickly?
Thanks!
