New Investor Seeking Advice
I've been interested in real estate for some time and feel I am now prepared financially to make my first acquisition. I've read a fair amount and feel I have a fairly good understanding of the financial components of real estate investing but looking forward to using this website as a resource. My plan is to acquire my first investment property in the late spring/early summer and intend on using the next few months to further educate myself and build relationships. Interested in hearing other's take on where they recommend I devote my time. More specifically would you say I will benefit most from devoting my time to networking with contractors, lenders, other industry specific professionals or is there another way you recommend I devote my time? Cheers

@Sebastian Bennett 100% agree with the above post. Try some local real estate meetup groups. Meetup.com is a good resource for those but some of the groups will also post here on Bigger Pockets Marketplace too. Even facebook might have some good local groups for you. There are lots in the Philly area and it's the best place to learn and get connected in my opinion.
