21 year old starting out in the real estate investing world

Hi everyone! My name is Dean and i'm currently a 21-year-old attending college in Arizona, however, I reside with my mother in El Paso. First things first, I would like to say that BiggerPockets has undoubtedly shifted my mindset of partying and doing what your average person does, to a gritty, determined, real estate-savvy mindset. I took a big interest to real estate about 7 months ago, and I've been researching and reading books about it ever since. However, I don't necessarily know how to start and who to talk to. My main goal in life is to live off of enough cash flow through rental properties so I can travel the world. I also just recently took an interest to wholesaling, as this might be a way to pay for my first down payment on a property. I'm looking for some type of trusted mentor (preferably in or near El Paso) to express my interest and receive knowledge from. Even if I can speak to somebody over the phone about my details and plans, that would be fantastic. Looking forward to starting my investing journey!
