Posted

I’m 18 years old and want to start getting involved in the real estate world, do you guys have any ideas of part time jobs with no experience needed for college students like me?

We're always looking for reliable contractors. If you don't have any contract type work skills yourself you could go work for one. You could also potentially start your own painting or landscaping company without too much capital or know how.

With no experience I'd recommend getting some by educating yourself as much as possible through websites like this and its family of podcast, YouTube, and your local library. I'd also recommend going to all of your local REI meetups. Try to learn what the investors in your area need help with. Maybe you could help then turn a property around to get new renters in, collect a rent check for them while there on vacation, go check on a work request to see how extensive the damage it, or go clean the leaves out of their gutters.
