Where to start in real estate

Aiden Wright
Posted

Hello all this is my first post after listening to the podcast for a few months. I am about to go on my first deployment and where I will be going will be tax free. So I will have about 9 months of pay tax free somewhere around $50,000 and I have no dependents or anything major to spend money on. I was thinking about saving a good amount of this money for when I come back to the states and begin my journey into real estate. What I'm wondering is what you all would recommend whether it be renting, flipping, or any other real estate venture. I'm not extremely knowledgable on the real estate side yet but I have worked for a contractor flipping houses for a couple of years. Any advice or stories would be greatly appreciated thank you!

If youre about to go on deployment, i would say find as many audio books that you can and absorb as much knowledge as you can. Then when you return, be ready to apply your actions.
