Looking for input and advice on first rental!
My father has a 2bed 2 bath house that he still owes 16k on that he no longer wants! The current tenants are leaving and the place will need 15-20k work to get it back up to a respectable place to live. However my father just wants to give me the house instead of me buying it. What would be the the best way to go about this? I have looked into a subject-to loan or possibly refinancing it to have me added on the current loan. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
