Hello BP community , my name is mario and I wanted to share my story and how I found out about real estate investing and make some connections to help get into investing .

I was born in San Diego and raised up north in the Central Valley about 300 miles north. I am one of four kids and the second youngest . I moved back here a couple of years ago . When we were younger my mom had moved from here to the Central Valley . During the time we lived in the Central Valley she was diagnosed with leukemia. She died when I was 7 from an aneurism from drugs while in the hospital . She was put on life support and the drs gave my “ big brother “ two choices . Either to keep her on life support or take her off… she isn’t here today but will always be remembered and I never knew my father . He wasn’t in the picture so I grew up without parents .
Fast forward 20 years later and here I am writing out a message to reach out . Obviously during that time there was a lot that happened. Homelessness 3 times , lived in bad neighborhoods where people got shot , generator in the backyard for electricity , graduated high-school and did a little bit of college . I came across bigger pockets podcast less than a month ago and I dialed in . I heard about all of the amazing things that people are doing and how some people came from adversity just like I did . I want to be part of that and make a difference , an impact, in not just my life but other peoples lives. I want to inspire and motivate people and let them know that if I can do it , despite going through so much adversity, they can too .
