Recently our of college and married looking to start out and network

Hi everyone!

I am Laura and my now husband and I have been spending the last couple of months learning as much as we can about REI.

We live in NJ and we were in Philadelphia for a good numbers of years for college.

We both have remote jobs and we can go anywhere to invest. We are looking to settle ourselves in SoCal sooner rather than later but we'd like to have a couple of multifamily properties or commercial ones before then. We have 60k saved and a partner if we need more. 

What markets would you go to if you'd have the freedom to go anywhere and what would be your strategy?
