Making offers on Homes

Katie Buell
Posted

Hello,

We are ready to invest out of state and analyzed a bunch of deals. We found that amount we are comfortable offering (which is typically pretty well below what they are asking).  We have heard you typically have to put about 20 of these offers out there to get 1 yes.  We are asking our agent to submit them all, but they want to do it 1 at a time... what are your thoughts?

Thanks!

@Katie Buell Unless you have done multiple deals and established that relationship you won't find an agent willing to submit numerous offers at the same time. That's like tossing 20 fishing lines into the lake and trying to fish all of them at once. It's a massive amount of work, time, and frustration on there end.

Care to the share the numbers? This is all that matters BEFORE you submit an offer. Don't waste people's time. They won't waste yours.
