Is Jackson MS a good market?

I am looking to do some wholesaling, virtually, I’m Jackson MS and I was wondering if anyone has had any success there?

I have some friends there that could help me out for “boots on the ground” and I wanted to use that advantage to invest my time there. 

Any thoughts?
