Building A Duplex in Phoenix/Casa Carde Arizona

I've been working for a top 10 world ranked GC for 4 years now as a Sr. Project Engineer and now a Sr. Field Engineer. My bio on my page has more background information, but I want to get into real estate- more specifically multi-family as I know individuals in my home town that used this as a wealth vehicle. 

I really enjoy building and don't necessarily want to completely leave my full-time job (as of yet); however I really would like to take on something personally for my future benefit. I'd love to link up with anyone that has experience building duplexes (in PHX area if possible) ground up as I like the real estate background and knowledge that is required to get going. All help is appreciated, please reach out if you would like to know where I'm at in the process!
